Sungai Pandan Waterfalls

The Sungei Pandan Waterfalls 25 km from Kuantan is easily accessible by road. The falls spanning over 11 hectares are a popular holiday and picnic spot for locals and visitors alike. Consisting of a series of cascading rapids the falls culminate in a large cooling pool which is ideal for swimming.

Gua Charah

In the Malay language the word 'Gua' means cave. The Charah caves lay about 25 km northwest of Kuantan at Panching on the Sungei Lembing road. Formed millions of years ago and carved out by the forces of nature these caves offer an Interesting sojourn. Housed inside one of the caves is a statue of the reclining Buddha.

Gunung Tapis Park

About 16 km from Sungei Lembing is the Gunung Tapis nature park. Although still in the early stages of development the park offers excellent camping spots and a number of activities. If you are so inclined you can shoot the rapids on one of several rivers or fish for the 'Ikan Kelah' a Malaysian sub species of the great Indian Masheer (tortambroides duronesis).

Sungai Kenau

Located 48 km north of Kuantan. This waterfall is located in the town of Sungai Lembing - A tourist attraction for nature's lovers with fresh air and crystal clear and clean water. This spectacular wonder of mother earth must be carefully preserved for the next generation.

Indera Mahkota Agricultural Park

The Agricultural Park was established to benefit the farming community in particular, and all levels of society in general. Apart from showcasing the nation's heritage of natural and agricultural richness and diversity, the Park a]so serves as a centre for research and development for the agricultural industry. Its emphasis on care and concern for the environment also sets an example for the public at large to follow.


Kuantan Infocraft


Art and craft lovers can experience the rich cultural heritage of authentic art and craft atKuantan infocraft. Located in the heart of Kuantan in a refurbished historical building, Kuantan Infocraft displays a range of traditionally made arts and crafts, skills of which have been preserved and passed down from generation to generation. This range includes, silverware, brassware, batik, glass, pottery, basketry and wood and rattan crafts, all of which make excellent souvenirs.
